And Then There Was Sugar

One of our goals over the last few years was to be able to offer maple products that are hard to find in our area.


Of course the catch is that because they aren’t popular around here— many people don’t even know these items exist and it takes a little bit more convincing on our end to prove to you all that you really do need this goodies in your life 😏.


Last year we expanded our product line up to include bourbon aged maple syrup and maple cream— if you haven’t tried either, my apologies, but you’re missing out.


Our adventure with maple cream started small batch in our home kitchen before we invested in equipment and took it to production—and our kitchen seemed like just the place yesterday to again start experimenting.


And it worked.


Pending a successful syrup season (like most agriculture we are 100% reliant on Mother Nature when it comes to our crop yields) 100% Pure Maple Sugar will be added to our 2021 product line up.


And if we get really creative we may even be able to take the sugar to the next level and produce maple cotton candy.

Price is yet to be determined but anticipated at $10/half pound and $18/pound based on competitive product analysis.


Why do you need it?


It tastes amazing (it’ll put that brown sugar of yours to shame).


It can be used as a direct substitute for sugar in any baking or other recipe.


Unlike table sugar it is minimally processed, all natural, has a lower glycemic index and has a higher concentration of minerals such as magnesium and zinc.


But really, because maple.

In other news, our new vac shack is almost fully constructed, the interior of the shack is totally finished aside from some cleaning and elbow grease, and the count down is on!
